Thread regarding Canon Inc. layoffs

No Real Leaders at CUSA anymore

There truly are no more real bonafide leaders at CUSA anymore. Not one. Nobody is excited by anyone in charge right now. Nobody wants to go the extra mile anymore. Everyone just kind of stopped caring.

You are no longer promoted for talent and hard work and positive results and the right man/woman for the job! You’re now promoted for being (1) an expat Japanese (2) how long have you been at the company.

That’s it. It’s sad. And it shows.

Get rid of literally every single person VP and higher. Every single one.

Bring real leaders back we can believe in and inspired by! Bring back real leaders in that are actually deserving and qualified for these roles. Bring back real leaders that actually have experience in their role and have an actual plan that the team believes in. Bring back real leaders that have actually experience success in their careers and given field.

Then, and only then, will anything change for the better.

Lots of POOR management existed and still does. The merger only folded in more poor and lazy management from CSA whose only goal is to create useless workflows to slow down productivity of those who actually work. If CINC only knew the dead weight we really have.

The CSA VPs should be really worried one last week and now another this week let go, this one hit hard for me. I guess this is their way of saving money.

The merger turned out to be a disaster. Sammy can spin all he wants about profitability but to your core point, a climate of uncertainty eviscerated the the talent pool. That, Sammy, is unacceptable. He owns it.
