Thread regarding Bayer layoffs

I can’t keep up with constant changes

I’m really struggling. Every day, projects get delayed or completely stalled because critical people keep leaving or getting laid off. DSO sounded promising, but with constant restructuring and shifting teams, it feels like we’re building on quicksand. We’re expected to stay focused and deliver, but how? Workflows are disrupted nonstop, communication breaks down, and morale is at an all-time low. Everyone’s bracing for more layoffs, so instead of moving forward, we’re stuck just trying to hold things together. It’s frustrating because I want to invest fully in my projects, but the constant chaos makes it nearly impossible. I’m completely burnt out.

I think your feelings are pretty popular. It is not your job to compensate for everything. It is also not feasible. You are not likely to be rewarded for any miracles performed. My advice is to disengage. Do what you can with your days but absolutely disconnect your life satisfaction from your work.

Management has a big lift in front of them to right the ship. They certainly seem like focused and competent people.
Fingers crossed!
