Thread regarding Optum layoffs

So thankful I got laid off

At first my anxiety was through the roof worrying about finding my next job, however I found one a new position in a matter of a few months with a 20% salary increase with 8-5 hours, no nights/weekends. No more stress or anxiety, complete opposite of Optum. Had I not got laid off I probably would have stayed despite being overworked and stressed just to have a job. Its not worth working for this company anymore. Get out by any means necessary, employee satisfaction is not their concern

Can you share what the severance policy is? I'm worried about a RIF as a newer employee (less than a year).

Job market is trash right now. That's great you found a replacement that quickly. What field?
