There is absolutely going to be an LR announcement this week. I don’t know the reason they’ll make up this time but likely it’ll be something like AI efficiencies (congrats sw engineers - you created a tool that is going to eventually nuke any desire or need for your services in the future) and Fran will be showing us all how sad she is dressed in her best $1000 shawl in the next all hands.
Note, no reputational website speculated about potential layoffs, yet.

You are fairly new here. In short, 10 folks post regularly about a forthcoming major layoff. The remaining 90 folks here scream in horror. Once a year they are right and the devoted followers admire them for their deep insight.
Fake news, there are really some people hope LR happen every quarter, they will be disappointed this time.

I’m not 100% certain I’m picked but after being here for several years, I can read the tea leaves. Leaders try to make everything appear normal but there are always subtle signs.
I have a friend working in Cisco for 15 yrs now. I never saw any concern of layoff on him. He just watch movies all the time, do grocery shopping during office hours, pick n drop kids to school, attend all kids school events. He wfh here in bay area and 5pm he is out walking for 2 hrs.
