Thread regarding Five9 Inc. layoffs

Laid off in March and still looking for a job

I’ve made it to final rounds more than once only to be turned down over things that don’t even make sense. It’s wearing me down. I miss my job and I miss my coworkers. And I really miss having a steady paycheck. Being laid off can really mess up your life.

Today is liberation day! From F9 leadership fu-ktards.

Was in the first round. Last August. One year later, to the day. I couldn't be happier.

Stay the course and keep fighting, you are better off without F9 and their failed product, leadership and strategy.

Been there and done that, it su-ks! You start doubting yourself and wonder if you'll ever get another job, well I did and so will you. Be of good cheer, this too shall pass, in the mean time, sending you prayers and positive energy!

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I know it is little consolation when you have bills to pay, but remember a layoff is not YOUR fault. It is the fault of the company that laid you off.

The fact that you are making it to final rounds says you have talent. If you are applying for remote jobs, remember you are potentially competing with the entire world.

You’ll get there. Five9 is hitting tough times, but they weren’t known for hiring bad people. You’ll get a job. Keep your head up.

Hahaha. Five9 faithful fear mongering. Nice try. There are plenty of jobs if you have skills.
