Lately I’ve been finding it really hard to focus knowing that layoffs could drop at any time. That stress hangs over every meeting and every email. Needless to say, it’s hard to stay productive when you’re constantly wondering if your name is next. I wonder if we'll ever go back to having even a semblance of job security.

If you want to be happy and not worry about your job, then leave Dull! Nobody cares about you or your work, including your manager. Best decision ever made by my sh-t@ss manager was to let me go a few years back. I've never been happier not making JC and MD richer. Get the he-l out of there... now!
what's the point of stressing? You have 0 control over whether you're WFR'd. if you think you're at risk, start updating resumes and looking at jobs.
Give Dell its 40 hours and enjoy your life. Work gets much better when you realize it's just a job
Ya, same. The stress is real and more in subconscious than knew.
