Rumor has it Five9 started firing folks without severance. The new tactic is fake performance based reviews mentioned earlier?

The quiet layoff has been happening all along, for example there were 120 layoffs officially in the last round, but several employees were release quietly in the weeks before and after based on fake performance reviews and other dishonest reasons, the rate was around 5 employees a week. Don't trust Panos or any of his lackeys, they are garbage and whatever they say in the all hands and other ridiculous meetings are just lies to promote calmness while they decide who is next. Find a job and get out, the job market is tough so don't wait for your turn, take the initiative.
Firing isn't a layoff
I’ve also seen the same thing with a high performing, long standing employee
They are doing layoffs, but the only severance issues I've seen are with people who got hired for less than a year.
Performance based reviews imply that managers actually work enough to actually complete reviews.
Can confirm, a team member was laid off with no severance. The person had been here for a long time too.
