Thread regarding Ford layoffs

I want severance

I'm at peace and want to leave ford but really I want severance.
Any tips? I'm assuming there won't be voluntary separations offered.
I'll just continue showing up and doing status quo.
My stress level is way down since I decided this and I'm not anywhere near retirement age but I've got lots saved and no mortgage etc

@ax to lick
And not be kicked by

This is the perfect employee for ford because they are able to fool others. The others fooling are in on it and don’t expose each other.

The only severance you will get is the boot out the door. 😂

The problem is they might fire you for made-up reasons because they are so cheap and always look for ways to let people go without paying

Sounds like a dream scenario.
Enjoy the freedom!
Lots of people with mortgages and debt are jealous.

Treat your quiet quitting as severance then. You might last a couple of months doing the bare minimum and that'll probably be your package anyway in an involuntary separation.

Only advice I can offer is enjoy the freedom of your situation and continue to save money.

I doubt they'd offer voluntary packages but you never know.
