If I put up pictures of everyone’s faces at each brand, and threw darts to figure out who to get rid of, the resulting organization would still make more sense than the one that exists today?

Yes, this is what happens when consultants take over your company and think AI will solve everything.
Because we have someone from Logitec running a multi-brand retail parent company. He’s trying to simplify and align the orgs across every brand 1:1 regardless of brand performance so it’s easier for him to understand and control everything under his portfolio, and no operations leader to tell him that he’s sacrificing company culture and product quality to do it.
