got cut from Cisco a while back and thought Meraki might be a fresh start... yeah, not even close. whole thing felt like a performnce for soc media app instead of a tech interview. total 100% joke. They hired some kid with barely a resume - 10% of what I brought to the table. Didn’t say it, but I wasn’t “vibrant” enough for their culture. Translation: too old, probably way too real. you could feel it in every smirking question... most of those hires are already out the door. how bout the ones who stayed? still busy pitching “fun” ideas in fancy slides with zero delivery exp. under their colorful belt. Meraki was sold as agile, modern, disruptive. dangerous... all it is now is a cloud-flavored marketing engine drowning in mega buzzwords... and Cisco has only watered it down more. but that's not anything new, we'd all agree here on layoffs dot com...

Meraki usa must be different to Meraki emea
Nothing further from the truth
As usual Americans caught slacking and far behind Europe
Meraki engineers, especially HW, are very weak relying largely on buying 3rd party technical knowledge. Management is a high school clique, more interested in who's having lunch catered in today than trying to do their jobs.
If you bring professionalism, knowledge and process to Meraki you're definitely not vibrant and you're out the door next LR.
Cisco is more the over processed side of things, so the org changes have been fun to watch.
If you went to a Meraki heavy office you’d see the type of people they like to hire. Lots of virtue signaling flags and virtuous platitudes floating around.
Thank You Mr. Meraki.

Meraki ppl have always been self righteous, arrogant, and entitled.
But really OP? You were cut from Cisco, then denied a job at Meraki, and you're reposting here? sad.
ok boomer
@OP Yep. You can only get so far on platitudes and lefty BS. Sell high. I dumped it all!
