Anyone get an Accommodation Approved yet?

Coworker of mine is still waiting on their request that was submitted weeks ago. Their boss said it’s still going up the management chain. They do a job that is quite unique and valuable and live well over 50 miles from the office. I’d imagine the approval process heavily involves discussions how easily the employee is replaced and how valuable they are seen by management and leadership. Another coworker works just as far but was pretty much immediately rejected within a few days - by their own admission they haven’t been tasked with a lot of work lately so I’d imagine they’re on the cut list if they don’t improve those badge swipes.
@dh 51 miles is nothing. try 150. But it does not matter, because this is your choice. Come to office to deliver work stated in your contact. This is NA, stop whining.
@dh Is that when you get to show up once a quarter - Four times in the office per year - Yes it is.
A coworker of mine got it approved for medical reasons.
Has anyone tried moving 51 miles from the office and applying for full remote?
Did you guys submit via remote work exception or disability accommodations?
Just submitted mine the other day for valid health reasons. Still haven’t heard anything from them.
@a4 yeah don’t give up personal information, they doxx and stalk employees. When I say stalk I mean legitimately followed IRL
They're not giving accommodations. Asking for one gets you on "the list".
I can't even get my cube set up for me the way I need it because it isn't assigned to me in the system. Also, the ADA door for my assigned building is broken. They have a ticket with no ETA. It's literally a federal violation.
Yes, but the request was copied to my lawyer.
