@br TSRs focus solely on servers, networking, DCI, CI/HCI, and some storage. The amount TSRs are the technical lead on the latter half depends on the segment. For instance SB (unless something has changed), the TSRs generally do not have iDCSEs/SEs and handled the entire data center portfolio while in MB, TSR cover primarily server, networking and DCI, some overlap on HCI but storage, Apex, and DPS is largely by iDCSEs and SEs.
As someone who came from EMC back in the day and has been in the legacy Dell ISG side for almost a decade, there is a lot to be addressed in this area. Imo the TSR organization would benefit more being combined with the NGSA program. I'll spare people my TEDxTalk on that though.
lot of managers or even directors will land as I8-I10s... still doing similar cr-p like before - making your life harder to prove they are needed. It already started.
@br TSRs are generally much more technical than ISRs, being responsible for sizing and solutioning servers, some storage and some networking along with some SW titles. ISRs are effectively inside AEs, primarily responsible for quoting client systems and quarterbacking the business. Same with DCSE (more sales focused) and SE (more tech/storage focused).

Not to be rude. But what is difference between TSR and ISR? The roles are extremely similar much like s DCSE and SE. Inside sells. So whatever name it works. DCSEs sometimes do as do SEs

20+ is bonkers. They’ve been “inside led” forever. Are you saying they are getting rid of field reps or cutting down on them?
No TSMs either, TSRs are on the same team as their ISAEs and roll to ISMs now…
