American workers should stay away from TCS

It is well known that TCS uses American workers as placeholders and does not respect or reward them meaningfully. TCS just keeps Americans on staff to show the government they are hiring US workers , all the while they are just numbers on a spreadsheet to keep the government auditors at bay. The local US workers get no respect from the desk Indian boys clubs and certainly no raises or promotions. TCS jobs for Americans are dead end jobs and just to collect a pitiful paycheck. You will learn nothing at TCS and fall behind you peers in your career.
Take my advice and STAY AWAY FROM TCS!!!

Same in every other country they operate in …….

Majority of the staff are going to be on temporary visas (don’t want them getting citizenship and leaving) . Many will be onshored with a view to eventually moving the work to India. Again token local staff.

If it acquires a business then start transitioning work to India (have current staff do the interviews & training) , bench them and force them into a new role. If they can’t get a role quickly (or can only get a more junior role) get them on a PIP to get rid. Bring in staff on temporary visas to get business in the host country.

The whole model is undercut and move the work where possible to a cheaper location.

US workers are treated like garbage in America by TCS. They treat H1-Bs like slave labor.
