Just got told about wfr for about 60% of AE’s in aq. I hate that we go through this what seems like every half for multiple years now. Most will be finding out today. Best of luck everyone

Welcome to Dell,It’s packed with acronyms. My favorite one? POS. And no, not what you’re thinking… it actually stands for Point of Sale
Know a rep that wanted to go to acquisition and transferred.
its about time AE's get the tap most of the hair cuts have been impacting senior and highly qualified inside sales, pm's, and other contributors but the field has seen little to know WFR's.
@a8 The severance package essentially pays the WARN act penalty.
Just look up how companies avoid the WARN act. It seems pretty easy.
Is the WARN act in play if they are planning on getting rid of that many people?
When I saw the Acquisitions group in my area, I remembered that they certainly threw a ton of resources at it.
@a1 ae is a pretty common acronym across a lot of companies not just Dell. It stands for account executive.
That number is insane.
Acquisitions is one of the toughest areas to be successful because I believe they were under penetrated accounts to begin with. If the accounts haven't been touched in a while, it's hard to make a go of them.
aq?
Account Executive = Sales Rep
What is AE? The acronym use at this company is insane, not everyone is aware of every team in the company. It's frustrating.
