Money laundering (Carlyle and JP Morgan). I love the placed stories on how this was a cheap deal.

@ee Ruckus is a terrible brand right now. They left huge security holes in their systems for 7 months without a patch or customer communication. Only when it became public did they even acknowledge it.

@ed would be mind blown if the arris name is used. It's dead. Ruckus makes more sense and has great branding.

@ax What's left is Arris and Ruckus. Ruckus was acquired by Arris in the first place, but they never seemed to accept it. Since tax documents are still being processed as Arris after all these years, that seems like the most likely name.

@OP what does this mean for ANS?
Will they offer any voluntary redundancies? As would jump at this possibility

@av The Commscope name/brand is going to APH. Basically all that is left is Ruckus, which I would guess would be the company name going forward after the sale is closed. Total speculation though on the future naming.

Hopefully all this means Chucks bidding on behalf of Carlysle group is done and he can show himself the door along with all the Carlysle board members. They can all eat a bag of di-ks for trying to dabble in an industry they have no clue about. Fu--ing mo--ns getting off scot free after their ridiculous purchase of Arris.

What's left of CommScope? Isn't CCS the core business?
