I have yet to recieve my dcp plan. My supervisor is dragging a-s getting it done. I contacted hr but I was told the supervisor would craft it up. The hr rep told me he was only there if I had any questions or concerns. Either exxon is purposely delaying it because they want me to fail or it is not a serious matter. I am not piped and cannot be forced out yet. I am nre and protected for a bit. I was told I had 3 months to complete the plan. It is now August and I got nothing. My pipee friends had a plan presented to them at the performance review in July. I am wondering what is the game. If it is not important to hr and the supervisor should I worry. I want to make sure it is a fair plan. My lawyer thinks it is strange that it is taking so long for the plan documentation. My lawyer is reviewing all the documents for me. To all pipees don't sign anything before an attorney reviews it.

I am still waiting on this so called dcp plan. I have not been told what my deficiencies were only told I was nsi. It is almost the end of august. It is strange that they are not getting me ready to save or fire.
I am now waiting for the nre package instead of dpc.
I am still waiting on my pip plan. Everyone else has started around me.
@t3 Same lawyers that lost the Hess/Chevron case? Take your chance.
I love how everyone thinks they’re going to get a lawyer and dunk on EM at the Supreme Court (or something…)
Like, dude, they have a literal army made up of the most talented and highly paid attorneys in the world. If you’re serious about suing these people then learn about what you’re up against.
BTW, the PIP thing has been going on for five years now, and so far nobody has mounted a successful legal challenge to it.
Definitely have a lawyer review any paperwork. Your job and career are on the line. You'd be a damn fool to do anything else. Even a little bobble by your supervisor can be to your advantage of you get let go. Don't roll over
Been in your shoes. Took it for what it was. Didn’t lawyer up. Survived to live another day. Worked hard and climbed out of NSI to retire with dignity with a VG ranking. Picked up some nice restricted stock in the way out the door.
Maybe life is fair after all; bring your shytty attitude and your lawyer to the table and see what you get. It’s your choice. We are all going through this bull cr-p. You can choose to take advice from your colleagues, or you can cling to your attitude.
Anyone who goes through pip without an attorney looking over documents is a fool. I know a few old employees that signed their resignation without even knowing. They agreed to the unfair terms of the pip. Once they went to a lawyer later they were sc--wed with no hope. We the pips stand to lose a lot of money by being forced out unfairly. NREs have much more to lose such as medical and loss of pension income. So for those of you who say don't get a lawyer you need to be in my shoes. If exxon is going to fail you at pip it does not matter if you have an attorney or not. It is your right to have a law professional look over documents. I have a tax attorney for my business and they advise me on everything. Do not be scared or intimidated by exxon. If you are retaliated for having an attorney you can sue for retaliation.
I'm assuming the 3 month timer doesn't start until you have a set of tasks / goals to be stewarded to.
Please stop with the lawyering up stuff. They are either planning on allowing you to pass your plan or they want you gone. The surest way to make them shift you to the later category is to lawyer up.
Life isn’t fair. Your mother should have taught you that.
Seriously? Please go away, troll.
