Does anyone know about the statuses of the two above? There seem to be mixed signals coming from management. Doubting to get an actual answer here but still trying lol

Very site specific. Reshuffling to new HC model, picking up a few without having to rehire. Only from few select areas and closed process done basically behind closed doors to attempt to retain actual talent.
I have not seen true low performers be shown the door, so far I find these layoffs just as bad as the prior voluntary. Loosing many good people and pushing our talented work force out with the pi-s poor morale and messaging. Those talented not selected are looking for better pay and balance. Intel lost both.
Transfers / internal hires are BU dependent.
For example, TD will only allow movement with TD, no external BU hires.

They say they are hiring or transferring but ONLY H1-B, O1, L1, and other Visa holding employees. In order to do the transfer or hiring, the company must post the job. Everyone, qualified or non-qualified to this job should apply. This is the only way the gov't can decline the H1-B visa cause the company will need to report the number of US Citizens that applied for the job. Employees should make it difficult for HR and Legal to get these H1B applications approved by the US gov't. EVERYONE SHOULD APPLY FOR THE JOB POSTINGS, ESPECIALLY THE H1-B VISA JOBS.
