Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

https://www.oregonlive.com/crime/2025/08/worker-at-intel-hospitalized-after-threatening-others-during-mental-health-crisis.html

No joking matter. People are unbelievably stressed and at their breaking point. Be kind to yourself and check on your buddies too.

@my there were physical attacks. They weren’t reported in media because the CWs refused medical and all my comments disappear due to the mods here. Safety is #1 though…lol

@aa you said he was attacking people?
*Verbally attacking people?

  • Physically attacking people?
    • Did he have a we-pon?
    • And now the endless list of questions that should be answered publicly by Intel get posted.

Why did I say Intel should go public with what happened? Hint what is Intel's top tie-tier value? Employee Safety. Ask AI if you want to be sure.

Every time a coworker beats up another coworker, a CEO smiles.

@ae probably should the guy who strangled the worker in the ronler acres parking lot really highlights the issue. It was just way to easy for him, he was spray painting security cameras and sh-t. If you ask hr about it they will just say the facial recognition keeps you safe but there is no alligator infest mote keeping anyone there safe.

This happened at our campus. The guy was going across the yelling and attacking people.

This is just one incident, I wouldn't be surprised if there are more like this with the on going stress at Intel.

I attempted suici de close to the end of January and stressful work conditions were part of the problem. I am much better now, though I’d like to see Intel get out of limbo.

2023 in particular was the culmination of violence at Intel. Huge workforce like that, statistically it's gonna happen. Layoffs just pour gas on the fire
