@2aa Yes this is true. There are entire product segments of the company where there is only one person left in an engineering role. In some product segments there are ZERO employees left and the product is running by miracles. There are at this time not enough employees to properly maintain the products we do have. This is a serious concern as any major incident or breech would be catastrophic as all the talent and SME’s have been shown the door. The India based product at this point is a joke and the company is bleeding customers. Almost 5 years in and they are still missing basic features of established products.
There have also been rumors revenue is down by millions and is only getting worse. This company is quickly heading for insolvency. There is physically no more employees to cut to try and hide the finances. They have been trying for years to find a buyer but with how bad things are that will be impossible so expect the doors to close soon.
Some groups will be down to one or two people with in the next two to three months. Just enough to keep stuff going for a little longer
I'm hearing about layoffs from folks. I don't know how extensive.
