Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

Do y'all connect your phone to the Corp network to get mail and teams access?

If so, do you worry about searching for job on the same phone. And all the other personal stuff like banking and textin and stuff. Is it safe?

I browse as much NSFW material as possible at work using company wifi. In fact, I keep it running even when I am not looking at it or listening to it. I know they can triangulate my location within the office. My personal phone number is on record, so they should be able to identify me. I post messages that could get me fired, sued or even prosecuted. I understand that they can flag inappropriate content without specifically targeting me. I do not use a VPN or mobile data.

I don't care. I just want severance.

No. Keep corporate cel phone and personal cel phone completely separate. Do any such searches from home in personal time on personal laptop.

yes i have it, no i don't worry about it. the privacy app gives you all the details of what they can see or not see. the penalties for doing beyond that are severe, especially in eu. plus, nobody has the time nor interest to dig through all that stuff. that would be an immense amount of data and cost.

I don’t anymore. And what’s the point, better to only read emails on the laptop when you’re working.
Don’t do extra as Wael can make you redundant in the next re-org which is never far away.
