During his 4 years tenure, this dude made more good for Five9 than Mike Burkland during the decade.

@b7 Russ Hanneman hated the two comma club. Joke is on you Putz.
@b4 hahaha. No one that has two commas in their paycheck or makes any real decisions reads this forum…. let’s all accept that this is the boo hoo working class in here. Wish you the best.
@OP "sleepy Mike." Rowan was awake and engaged. Mike is asleep.
@ap Absolutely, he's terrible
@aw ok HR/EVP
Rowan is sorely missed
I joined Five9 about two years before Mike’s exit. I was onboard about 6 months when I realized that we weren’t investing in our platform and it was all about sales numbers. Having seen that playbook before I knew that Mike was trying to get us acquired. Then he got sick and Rowan joined Five9 and we began investing in ourselves. Now Mike is back and the old sellout playbook is back in play. Mike coming back was the worst thing that could have happened.
@OP Absolutely. And stock was over $200 a share - admittedly stock up also due to Covid aspects but it felt like Rowan was driving the company profile and overall direction in a very dynamic and energetic way.
@OP while Rowan definitely had his issues. He's a million times better than mad man. Mike
@OP while Rowan had his issues, they pale in comparison to madman Mike's
@a6 Mike, please just step down. I sure you have more than enough money to retire.
@a8 They don't have open jobs for me
@OP employees that have left, or have yet to leave will go to better companies and do great but Mike will leave as the worst CEO they have known in their career. That’s how he’ll be remembered by all. I’m a current employee and I don’t know anyone that respects or likes Mike, at all levels.
