As said over and over on this board don’t count on WARN notices giving you any information. With every large layoff, over the past two years at least, the WARN goes up after the cut and the company keeps people on payroll for the 60-90 days to cover/get around it. Will PSKY work differently? Very possible. But there’s no indication that this data will suddenly foretell anything when it hasn’t in years.
WARN notices it is a mass layoff over a certain number
Question will be is the notice done by Paramount proper or new Paramount-Skydance or whatever they are calling new company when deal closes on 8/7
Given the size of the rumored layoffs, I’m going to assume there will have to be WARN filings.
according to past posts - no
it was inclusive there's a thread called packages that spell out specific situations
i'm here three years - that would be 6 weeks severance if the warn act wasn't triggered by mass layoffs - if WARN act is in effect - i'll get 3 months -
CA employeees - it's 60 days per that state law and website
@a6 then is severance above and beyond warn pay?
the notice date is when they tell you
June 10 was last day off date
Posted date is when NY state posts it
Date effective is the 90 days out
I don't believe these Sept dates are new - they are all the June 10 date
Para doesn't give notice and actually work the three months - they give notice and you are typically done by the end of the week and they buy out the Warn time - you keep getting paid through payroll
Well it’s the date that you get warned.
