I'm out. It was fun while it lasted.
Good times and great people, thank you for that!
RTO.. Resubmit your engagement survey hitting on your treatment as an employee. This is an attrition and fear tactic to facilitate conformity.
Layoffs.. I don't buy it. They will happen under another name.. Right sizing, realignment, etc.
Remote worker... Increases and promotions will likely be more difficult. Remote status is guaranteed only in current position. Manager discretion otherwise, but if roles are prioritized for on-site, you are hitting the glass ceiling to a point.
Moral is sh-t and being a remote worker, I feel I could be cut at any time no matter my value. It causes stress, less engagement, and less ownership of my duties. I do my job and do it well, but an attribute on my profile being marked as remote, unable to relocate, and now limited in career options...
@aa
They show 80+% engagement. And used that the show they should get more by 4RTO. Send a message no more Glint. Show them how much engagement they DONT get making us come in.
@OP This update was the usual - 45 minutes of who gives a s—t, followed by tone deaf responses that didn’t fully answer people’s questions. There is zero reason that we needed to go from 3 to 4 days in office. Record numbers, client satisfaction, yet let’s make our employees unhappy by instituting more control over how they achieve these results for the company. Makes no sense unless they want to reduce headcount.
Fun fact - if you go to JW Glint, you can retake your survey before the deadline. Just so everyone knows….no reason in particular ;)
I woke up at 4am and it su-ked, didn't even get into work on time: good thing my clients didn't need me early first thing because I wasn't available.
So now you have to share in the misery and go through it too. Also that was... lets do the math... 30+ years ago? Traffic has only gotten worse and cost of incurred expenses has only grown.
Consistency. Consistently asking more and effectively lowering employee's compensation, even though numbers are good and there is nothing to suggest we can't keep doing great without these changes.
Incredible end quarter, record progress, so clearly what we have in place is working but lets force employees to give up more of their autonomy.
People are not happy 😅
@a4 they said that about the HWF agreement last year too
Patrick - let us know if they come for you! Good question.
Record everything…except employee morale.
Confirmation of no changes to sabbatical is a positive
