I’m tired of this place and want to leave but there’s nothing on the market. Any tips of surviving for now? Dreadful.

Get inventive if you need to, reach back to things you did in the past, skills Optum did not appreciate or bother to hone because they treat everyone like a Neanderthal, include those in your linked in profile, in your resume, know that some employers use AI to scan resumes, profiles looking for keywords. It is hard to think forward working for them, I get it, I was there too, simple even household tasks were put off due to exhaustion and likely depression, they cause both, it’s not you, it’s them. Look for a job now, don’t wait, look while you are employed, update your resume with the needed keywords of what you want, also your linked in, indeed. I was you, I honestly couldn’t remember what I used to be good at anymore due to the constant changes, continual audits, RIFs quarterly, threats, fear of getting laid off, fear of not being able to pay my mortgage, WORK is not supposed to be like that, it’s supposed to be a 40- maybe 50 hour commitment of your life, one you take seriously- I assuredly do and am going to have a great time making a competitor scads of cash. It should not continually cross over into your personal life, your SO/spouse, family, parents, siblings, pets should be your priority, HA! They want you to eat, sleep, dream Optum, which is not healthy AT ALL. When you escape as I have you will be so much happier and become part of the never again club, there are so many brilliant people Optum has utterly sc--wed over who finally escaped and found themselves again, it’s like a cult almost, just true, we are brilliant, we are top performers, but we will NEVER go back. Come join us, find YOU again, and your life! Start with those keywords on that resume, that linked in profile, use a lil chat GPT, it’s free, you can do this. There needs to be a mass exodus, as cr-ppy as they have been treating their people the last several years. Just saying
So you have no marketable skills? Seriously? People are getting hired everyday but your attitude won't get you anywhere.
