Thread regarding Moog Inc. layoffs

Moog, what a joke

LOL, Moog has been going down the tubes since....(trying to remember what year it was) they outsourced their entire IT operation to HCL. I think it was somewhere around 2018 or so. I was hired by HCL at that time to help with the 'transition' over in Blacksburg Virginia. I remember how a valuable employee (let's call him C) was sc--wed over, and initially retained by HCL to help as the whole IT structure converted over.

Anyway it was a nightmare. The technological issues continued to mount up as the red tape of ticket systems and addressing employee needs built up. C resigned from the company as did anyone else left over from the original Moog staff, and the situation spiraled out of control.

Fast forward to today. My understanding is that Moog eventually admitted their mistake in outsourcing their crucial IT infrastructure to the lowest outsource bidder... and has hired a new Informational technology support team. I have long since gone from Moog and HCL, but have no interest in returning. I don't trust them. They did their employees dirty when they pulled that little stunt... and once trust is lost it's seldom regained.

the new moog is still the old moog - just look at the senior leadership. they are still a small company with small company mindset. homegrown not open to outside ideas - how could they not be. make your mark, get your promotion and move on or you'll stagnate here. the turnover speaks for itself.
