Put this place in your rear view. Life’s too short.

Aren't you all so happy you signed off on those "re-checks" and gave DOGE all your personal info (mostly fingerprints for the FB(A)I). The world of IT has just gone to s**t. Time to be a garbage collector...er...waste management engineer. LMAO!

I’m severing my emotional connection to my job, to Schwab (it’s a process). I’ve been here close to 15 years. It’s now just a job that pays my bills. It’s exhausting constantly pivoting around such fickle executives and local leaders. Pay me to think, produce and manage my time accordingly or pay me to just do as I’m told. It now takes too much energy to not just acquiesce to our new reality. I choose to save my energy for my family and myself. So “yes leader, what else leader” will become my go-to.

You know, it's just crazy. They could really have a good thing. There are thousands here that want to make the company better and help the customer. I personally looked forward to spending my life working for the company and making it the best it can be...but it's like every month or two someone with far too much power gets it in their head they need to make a name for themselves by ruining a good thing. Why can't they just think of everyone working at the company for once? They've made ridiculous profits year over year, it's just not right to hurt us all like this. I hate it, I really did want to make a career here. I feel betrayed.
