Why did I receive an email to enroll in HPE’s 401k even before an offer letter? It’s confusing.

This is good thing. Can't contribute to juniper 401k anymore, so if we had to wait until ED1, we would miss 3 months of contributions. Anybody know if HPE will be doing 4% match for contributions up until ED1?
