Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

UP and NS merger a death nail for BNSF

BNSF has been giving away yards to RJ Corman, UP with NS merger with trans continental freight is about to ravage BNSF business model, and always late to the party Katie Farmer and her pi-s poor decision making, and her band of Fort Worth minions may have just led BNSF into bankruptcy by downsizing and losing business in the name of DEI and poor leadership. The inability to deliver consistent freight to customers and the choosing of middle management yes men, rather than focusing on moving freight will lead to mass furloughs at the end of this year, and BNSF will give the same tired answer of we are doing so to “stay competitive” while ensuring the demise of what once was the greatest railroad in the United States. All it took was a few years under Katie and the greatest failure implementation of progressive railroading seen in a generation to ensure it’s going to be a terrible winter for BNSF. Better have your toys paid off and your bills reduced, UP’s model of transcontinental freight, coast to coast is going to decimate Katie’s pisspoor business model, and not even she has a deep enough a$$ to cover the losses.

Don't let the Leprechaun worry you, he's just out for his pot of gold.
The tricks and treats he did to UP which tried to manipulate the stocks to split but it failed, His temporary retirement was a vacation and now if the Merger goes through it will be cut cut cut to Norfolk Southern, like he did with UP. Vena wasn't good in the craft but is a good con job.

Ms Farmer and BNSF must oppose the proposed UP-NS merger to gain competitive concessions! One must be end of industries closed to reciprocal switching, long a Union Pacific strategy to limit competition from a competing rail carrier. Regulators in Canada ended this blockage to rail competition long ago.

BNSF doesnt have the ba--s to do a merger like that. Theyre like the kid who goes up to the edge of the diving board and cowers away. They "watch" what everyone else is doing, and then maybe they'll jump in. What a joke. At least UP is living up to its legacy of pushing ahead into the unknown, just like when they brought the rail out west. Its in their blood.

BNSF will just sit and watch and see if it happens. CP/CN both have coast to coast in canada. If bnsf was smart they should merge with CN. CP just merged with KCS having mexico and the gulf. UP merger will happen if bnsf makes a merger move also. bnsf has to make a merger move soon because UP will never go through because it will be a monoply. Im Regarded

With IMF facilities contracted out to short lines BNSF is quickly becoming irrelevant In rail freight especially with cpcn and KCS merger that managed freight north to south and now up merger with ns managing freight east to west BNSF just became essentially a short line over night
