Dear young dreamer, DO NOT COME HERE! Reject your offer. Withdraw your offer acceptance. If this was 2005 100% I would say congrats and welcome to the family. However, its now 2025 and 100% you should stay away. You have been warned.

Recieved an offer here as a ChemE 6 months ago and was super tempted to take it! Worked at Air Products. Then I heard about the ranking system and rejected immediately. I felt really stressed deciding between both but it was the best decision for mental health. Hope I made the right decision
better to work at in n out and sell burgers, better work environment then exxon which is full of desperate middle class nobodies with zero smarts with ability to just su-k up to higher mgmt
It will be tempting to take the job, but DON'T. It will tarnish your CV and worse, it will tarnish your mentality as a young person starting out. Go get a real job with less pay, if necessary and learn how to operate in a real business
I have a chance to take an XOM offer and will 100% be rejecting it. An absolutely terrible place to work. No amount of money is worth it.
If only I could go back in time, I would never consider starting my career at this toxic company. Biggest regret of my entire life.
I don't know hoe they keep getting fools to work here. The contractors that accept the offer after living and enduring the s heet. They treat contractors bad at baytown. I could and would not do it. 20 or 30 years ago I loved my employment but now it is a living he-l.
Is there a chance it stabilizes after a while - like 3 - 5 years - after ruthless ranking and offshoring? Under 40s now so not sure if it’s something of a remote possibility.
More cons than pros nowadays. I’m sick of working with uncon ace holes.
