If you were rif'd then I hope you get a new job and do well. Everyone can sympathize with folks who were laid off. But if you werent laid off and think that this organization is just the worst then no one is forcing you to stay here. No one has empathy for whiners who werent rif'd, continue to get a paycheck but costantly whine and moan about the folks that give them the paycheck.
UHG has a warehouse of useless gifts. Tote bags, pens , notebooks , hand sanitizer. Once saw some ceramic figurines. When you allow a housecall NP it’s like letting the cat in with the canary. One family reported they kicked the woman out when they found out she was trying to make their mother agree to say she was a diabetic when the family knew her own PCP was diligent about their mom’s care. The NP tried to start to get the old woman to tell her doctor she needed treatment based on one random glucose.
No surprise. Housecalls should be discontinued given the waste of patients time and the useless gifts the nurses are forced to leave with patients. Scheduling with Housecalls is such a mess, they give a 3-4 hour window for possible arrival. As an aside all the nurses who came to visit my parent were nice and professional, we felt bad for them.
