An ER would make too much sense and save too much money so don't count on that.
There is going to be a very major LR after close of this fiscal, mark these words. 10-15% and mainly in sales too many of whom are not performing and WFH not doing enough meaningful work . Come back here end of August and thank me for this information. You’re welcome.

However, it’s definitely a layoff.
I'm new to my role, six months now, but I've had the honor of doing OJE in different theaters before my going in seat, and through many of my contacts, it's the same across the board: "This has been the worst quarter!" Less than five out of my sales network have met their goal, and barely at that. Customer spend just isn't what we expected and add that to competitors scooping in. Yeah, I don't expect a lot of positive announcements.

Cisco will never have another Early Retirement (ER) offer. Rest assured, and keep hoping.
They are announcing it yet but giving two months for ER before LR.
