The whole campus was supposed to be sustainably designed. That went out the window when they dig up native plants for flower bed that requires excessive watering that run off into the streets. The trees are not healthy either. The trees are slowly dying. I liken it to a slow death of what used to make this company great.

It’s not about preserving nature. In the end, it’s all about optics and money.

8% of the total population were deemed to Need Significant Improvement and were given the choice of PIP or PIL. The Performance Improvement Plan required the trees to grow 2ft and remove 120% of annual atmospheric carbon (for credits). Seeing how passing the PIP was not achievable, the trees "chose to leave" the grounds by taking the PIL.

Darren hates trees - too green and alive - so they're getting rid of some.

The health of the trees must have been remotely monitored by the BTC. No wonder the trees died.

Less shades, less comfortable to be outdoor, more chance you are inside working or being seen not working.
