Today it is Pinnacle and Synovus. Will it be JP acquiring Truist or perhaps Wells and Truist in the near future? After the last earnings call, it looks like there is little or no gas in this Truist motor.

@fr what lawsuits?
@mc Not today.....
@fk as bank stocks print new all time highs…lol
Wait til the layoffs begin with Pinnacle. The feel good bank. Lol
@fr+1k11fkx6e - 🤣
@a6 More money to payout in the upcoming lawsuits!
@fk The issues at "Truist" aren't "economic intellect", as you state, it is a demonic rot inside the firm. What you describe as "economics" has been eb and flow since 1971.
While your opinion is valued, it is more a demonstration of your self delusional psuedo-elitism than it is of economic wisdom.
All banks are in the same situation right now. There’s no yield to be had. Rates are too high and credit is expensive as sh-t. Everyone is waiting to see what happens in the mid terms. Maybe if some of you understood economics or banking in general you wouldn’t be crying because you’ve been a 110 for 25 years.
Lot of schadenfreude at Truist
@ah well the Truist grass is dead and non-existent so anything is greener than that. But you keep relishing in other’s misfortune, seems like you fit in well at Truist.
@a6 thank you! Finally someone else understands the financials.
@a6+ has been drinking the spiked Purple Kool Aid
I don’t know but it’s hilarious how all those bankers left Truist for Pinnacle and now they got bought by Synovus, now they get to go through another merger LMAO! It ain’t always greener on the other side.
Truist won’t be acquired anytime in next 5 years. TFC is doing really well from a financials standpoint. Stock is kicking butt and bank is doing really well regionally.
PNC or USB
I think the FDIC should just takeover. Save the shareholders and clients the most they can. There are many good teammates caught in the middle and many managers who should go to prison.
PNC will be your father via acquisition JP and Wells don’t deal in waste management.
