The current CIO seems to lack basic IT knowledge and focuses mostly on frequent team changes and staff cuts without clear reasons. Though she talks about company values, her actions feel disconnected and insincere. Favoritism in roles and projects has lowered morale, trust, and stability.

LOL, or in other words, the Jacobs IT team got rid of all the diverse leaders and replaced them with the old boys network.
To maintain our technical edge, we must address the growing trend of executive homogeneity. The recent replacement of diverse leaders with a narrow demographic profile has created a culture where constructive dissent is stifled. We risk a 'groupthink' trap that will inevitably stall our roadmap and drive away top talent who value inclusive, meritocratic environments.
