December layoffs?

Are the layoffs over or will they let more people go before Christmas?

Well, they just let go the whole SDR Team for Europe. Probably will source this out to India as well.

In the United States there's never a guarantee of future employment. Almost everyone is at-will.

Don't forget that some positions were going to be transition jobs. You might still have a job in January but be out by April, or sooner.

"TK will not be keeping his promise to let you know if you have a position going forward by the end of the year."

Even as we go into the New Year, no employee will be given a guarantee of future employment. Why? There are still too many unknowns about CSG's profitability goal accomplishment.

High operational costs + ongoing customer base decline = financial volatility.

Pro tip: sticking your nose in Tom Krause's buttcrack is not the career move you think it is.

Official, company-wide communications have said more layoffs in December and January. For whatever that's worth.

I'm going to say no, and I'll give you my reasons. The previous poster is correct. Nobody on here knows anything at the moment. That's the dog that isn't barking. When layoffs are nearing, the word trickles down to certain plebs and it spreads to others in the office and on this board. If the layoffs were this week, we'd have significant rumor activity here. This leads me to believe no layoffs this week. They will likely be after Christmas to avoid bad press.

Additionally, we don't have year end reviews. We don't have an org chart. They appear to be behind on everything. TK will not be keeping his promise to let you know if you have a position going forward by the end of the year.

Nobody who posts here knows. If anything is going to happen, it would be this week, otherwise they'll wait until January.
