Well said Team Dow (only when convenient).
This happened to me many years ago, managers and directors are indeed incompetent yes men. They don't even have the competence to grow a team based on skills and throw random projects at you to make you fail. Then they call you a problem employee and you're on PIP in a year and don't even let you move to a different team to grow.
First put Director Timothy on PIP/layoff pool for being a failed leader and just yapping garbage.
Leaving Dow was the best decision of my life and now I make Director/VP level salary in a different industry. Life is good except for the occasionally bad experiences at Dow those many years ago, that pop up in my head once in a while...
Managers are just "Yes" men/women. Talk about empowering employees but if you push back or have a different idea then your manager you are a problematic employee low performance review and gone during their 1 to 2 year layoff schedule.
