Thread regarding Cummins Inc. layoffs

News on RIF later this year?

Hey guys, with all these cost cutting measures currently in place (hiring freeze, cost reduction initiatives, cutting down on discretionary spending like travel etc.) does anyone hear any chatter about potential RIF sometime in Nov or Dec?

@14a because they haven't a clue what they're doing. Has Cummins ever integrated a new acquisition well?

Well they have already given a 7.5% paycut and furlough to CDBS employees. Also the rumor is it's coming in August to get rid of many CDBS employees. Why purchase an entire company that you do not want? Just to put people out of a job.

There’s going to be Q2 townhall with the CEO this coming Aug 7th. I am eagerly awaiting what she says.

Dallas MRC has already has a workforce reduction. With the expectation of more to come.
At this point the leadership has created such a negative culture within the site that anyone being reduced should see it as a blessing, take the severance and move on to something more positive.
