Thoughts on pooling? Seems like that will be the source of most of the ISPs as they repeatedly mention reducing duplication.

There will be too many people for too few roles and that will be the source of many ISPs. Talent match will turn into the Hunger Games. It's about to get ugly. By next year a lot of it will be outsourced or offshored anyway, though, so even if you make it through this "Cascade" don't hold your breath. Enjoy the new normal and may the odds be ever in your favor.
But take of yourselves, ya'll. They're doing this with empathy and care. Headspace is here for you (at least until your COBRA runs out).
@qk completely agree. A number of roles up for pooling are technical and there is a need to match skill sets and teams. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any efforts to accomplish that.
I don't think folks getting moved around will be set up for success.
Pooling is a way to consolidate capability. The challenge is that the will have incapable leaders making decisions on talent when they have no clue about the work to be done.
Agree. I feel this is where cuts will be as well.
Was there a recent email or town hall that referenced pooling? I'm probably up for pooling but haven't gotten any details
It's a way they can reduce leader numbers and make bigger teams / more associates responsible to fewer leaders. Gone are the days of many teams having 3-5 associates. I would not want to be a leader in any of those areas mentioned, as they might be targets.
I was confused why they felt like they had to mention it. No new info. Now just caused more speculation.
