More than 400 Fiserv employees were shunted off to Infinite as contractors, our employment with Fiserv ended 7/17. No severance, no payout for banked PTO, declining the transfer would have been “voluntary resigning” and unemployment benefits was questionable. We began at Infinite on 7/18 with no banked PTO and very little job security. Fiserv had this plan underway since last October, at least, but continually told us there were no plans to affect our employment. It saddens me to say I’m glad to not be a Fiserv employee anymore. The work “family” I once respected literally gave us away.

@aa how is it legal
Unethical
@a3 Multiple BUs, primarily remote but I’ve been told some in-office, as well.
I was a contractor in IT until I departed November 2019 and treated like dirt. No benefits ever, no perm ever and one could be terminated just like that. Easy way to dump employees because you do not FIRE them (Warn act OK) so not surprised at all.
What BU is this? Troubling to hear. Sorry for the way you are being treated.
