Back in 1995 when the company was executing flawlessly Intel had approximately 48,500 employees worldwide.
This was during a period of rapid growth for the company, as it was dominating the microprocessor market with the Pentium line and expanding its manufacturing and R&D footprint globally. This was followed by Andy Grove instituting “back to basics”, which was a corporate “call to arms” to eliminate bureaucracy, streamline decision making, and focus on flawless execution. Just do your job. Once Andy retired, the rats took over.
Incredible to see all the downvotes. Tells how much Intel employees IQ gone. Deserve it for getting us in this bullsh-t situation . Easy peasy company at 50k max
@OP So you're telling me there's a chance??
Yeaahhhh!
It is regular quarterly sale. Each employee 5 levels down is just a cabbage. They sell it to get the living fees for next quarter.
Going down hill faster each quarter. Do you jump off to save yourself or go down the cliff together?
Yeah, Fire Those Guys!
Fire Them, Not Me.
Rotten and go bankrupt soon. Intel can only survive 1 year, by layoff 20% employee each quarter.
Naa ! Comp. direct labor in other corps 70K. Intel will lose 40K by 2026 end. Chapter 11 folks.
Lipton will be CEO still
We all know that.
