I know this topic has been addressed before and if you are going to reply with "this isn't true" save it... I can't understand why HR in the South Jersey location (Burlington) isn't avail until 9am ... I thought the hours were 830-500? I get that diff depts have different rules, they offer diff hours to diff groups, they allow people to WFH more than the 1 time exception, but if you need HR, and you are here at 830, why cant they be here at the same time.. What if I can't wait till 9?Why the time change? For years it's been 830, now you are at their mercy.. Again, these are FACTS...

You should be complaining to CSG Leadership.
Canon USAs standard hours remain 9-5. As usual, need CSG to align with the rest of the group, not expect others to adjust.
@bk this could be in reguards to the lurker/stalker last week that was hanging outside early morning
The best is when HR "makes" an appearance and decides to walk thru the dept to see what everyone is up to, it's just awkward .. I don't think it's so much that issues can't wait until they unlock the door for you at 9am ,but the hours, and the hour long lunch should be across the board for everyone...
Not to be disrespectful, but what does Burlington HR even do? I’ve had zero interactions with them since my first day. Everything is basically automated (payroll, tine off requests, signing up for health insurance) or is sent from corporate in Melville like those walking challenges, lunch webinars and nonsense like that. The only thing that I can recall coming from them is flu shot signups or evacuation time logs for fire drills. I’m sure General Affairs could coordinate those tasks.

At least GA adjusted there schedule to have someone here 8-4, I guess they realized it was important to have someone in the building when employees are there, HR should do the same.
HR, General Affairs and Accounting all work 9-5 with a 1 hour lunch now. This happened when we all became “one canon” in January.
Meanwhile the other half of the building still has to come in 830-5 with a 45 min lunch.
Why even bother with HR just go to GA
Nobody prob has an answer because you will get the run around anyway and who feels like chasing them down all day when you are suppose to be in your seat, working, and not talking?!
Why don’t you ask HR this question instead of posting it here for no one to respond to.
