Someone said there were supposed to be layoffs in July. Did that get scrapped or is it still coming?

Reliable source says September...after today's 'spicy' earnings report that will be in time for the 3rd QTR earnings (LOL) and make the EPS numbers all peachy. Sigh...
Seems like October is typically when the Layoffs occur

I know a contact that asked for a package and was told no (employee for 20+ years)...later left on their own but happy in retirement although a bit bitter.
@jp do you mean the they asked for a raise and they were let go?
Smaller numbers at the moment. I know of a few who have left in the last 2 weeks after asking for a package
It is a constant drum beat. You learn to live with it. Now with AI on (at) the horizon, who knows how TD leadership will adjust its staffing / headcount “strategy”.

They are still probably assessing the damage they did during the June layoffs...Ready, shoot, aim! If not June, I would expect August/September...nothing surprises me here anymore...
