I am seeing multiple conflicting articles.
Well go figure that UP mentions it, then BNSF follows from the rear. Meanwhile BNSF tech appears to be promoting a common theme.
This will not be a good thing for craft employees. Several yards will be shutdown completely.
CN and CP have their own coast to coast railroad and got approved to go to the gulf with the kcs railroad. Govt should allow both UPNS and BNSFCSXTUVWX to have coast to coast in our own country.
That gets rid of some jobs but add more options to live. All railroads are struggling and shooting themselves in the foot.
