Thread regarding Ford layoffs

NHTSA is actively watching Ford

This is the footer of an email I received today regarding my F150. Ford and it’s quality is poor and hurting us……

Please note that NHTSA is gathering information to learn more about your experience and vehicle condition. NHTSA adds this information to its review of other consumer complaints involving vehicles of comparable make, model, and model year to determine whether a safety-related defect may exist over a fleet of vehicles.

You do know that Ford is under a Consent Order from NHTSA, right? That means monthly meetings with them for at least the next 3 years.

I propose that Kumar give NHTSA our improved badge swipe metrics and call it a day. Thats just like saying we have prevented all future recalls.

I read between the lines at todays town hall.

This is exactly a reason for 89 recalls; more will follow
