New Chairman

What do people know about the new chairman of the board? Are there any details from his experience that might indicate what he will do?

I have been reflecting on this posting.. it is probably a good thing that the new chairman is not an oil man. The last chairman of BP that I respected and admired was a banker and lawyer.

Guys, I would not mock him. I know, he is not from our industry, but he has a proven track record of success - an impressive one to be honest. Something our current LT can only dream of.

To be honest, I would rather he replaced Murray :) But well, at least Helge will be gone.

Great, we have a former CFO for a CEO and now this? They couldn’t find someone with actual industry experience???

Hopefully he comes in and replaces at least the CEO and preferably the LT.
