Some of us have been here long enough to remember when loyalty meant something. Now the goal is just to hang on until retirement, hoping the workload doesn’t break us first. Promotions go to outsiders who don’t understand the culture, while we’re stretched thinner every year. It’s disheartening.

Yes , outsiders have done wonders for the company.
GC was able to steer the entire company into the ground and drive out many core technical and operational professionals. Every failed investment that was made into the alternative “virtue” industries is taking out another round of employees that do the real unseen work keeping this trainwreck afloat.
I think promotions should be based on performance, not whether you know the culture or not.
