On our last meeting we were told ISG, or at least our little corner of it, is safe this time.

Our team lost several beginning of the year.

ISG saw a 25-30% reduction last round. Every team lost at least 1 person. This also doesn't take into account the many that left voluntarily.
Mostly managers from what I have seen & heard. IC's have a bit more value for line managers now that the number of mandatory direct reports have risen to silly levels.
Some of the changes I've heard about in EMEA are batplopkrazee.
Layoffs coming in August? Nope!!!
ISG is big, some groups were untouched but they will get axed in August in the USA and EMEA.
If you ever heard about great next gen which is in forever "soon will be ready"... you know who in ISG is going to get slashed.
And what countries?
again, they were just hit.
