Wonder what he means?
Seems like John Hess is going to join Chevron Board. They are treating him very good, unlike the way we are treating Scott. Why?
Say what you will, but SS tried to take care of his organization, which doesn't seem to be the case with XOM leadership. Isn't care supposed to be a core value for XOM? This behavior shows how far xom culture is behind.
Good for Scott, Exxon doesn't deserve him. The FTC knew they couldn't really block the acquisition and were desperate for some kind of "win," no doubt the XOM rats conspired with the FTC to throw him under the bus and get the deal completed.
Scott feels betrayed by EM after the FTC blocked him from joining its board. He believes EM let regulators portray him unfairly to protect the merger. He sounds frustrated that after spending years building Pioneer and helping make the deal happen, he ended up being pushed aside just so the merger could go through.
This is consistent with the juvenile attitude of most of the Pioneer personnel.
Maybe sells them off.
