Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Looking for opportunities

It’s pretty sad that when I look at my colleagues LinkedIn profiles and they’re looking for other jobs.
I don’t see #Iwork4Dell anywhere.

NOBODY uses that hashtag except maybe Director level and above lol...
IC's sure af aren't going to use it because, why? Most IC's are underpaid and long overdue for a promotion so, I sure af won't ever be using that hashtag as if I'm "Proud" to be working for a company that underpays, rarely promotes and demands RTO.

It also speaks volumes that the majority of people who are gone haved moved on to some sort of entrepreneur type job. A very small minority end up at another company. If you're not thinking about what your next move is after Dell, you're going to be scrambling soon.

Only brown nosers use that stupid hashtag. The rest of us don’t want to publically acknowledge this train wreck.

Doubtful anyone who is still employed is openly looking and stating that online. They may have made a deal with their manager about WFR though. I know a lot who have done that and they know when its happening and just getting a headstart.

Not sad but speaks volumes. They should have stuck to laptops.
