Gelsinger did have his drawbacks but at least he enthused people with optimism and a sense of purpose. This new guy is a Bain/McKinsey hack and so far hasn’t shown any coherent strategy other than fire people to cut costs and ask everyone to remaining to “focus harder on execution” or whatever the latest staid corporate platitude is. Intel is one of the most shorted stocks in the market right now.

Completely sc--wed. Clueless people sit in meetings, trying to make decisions on something they do not know. Political people hire an army of a few thousands to meet everyday, and claim it is AI.
